Introduction to Inkan Shamanism

Teachings and healing practices

The 2010 series is closed.

Registration for the 2011 series closes on January 28th, 2011. Please note the snow date listed below before registering.

Peruvian Shamanism offers a way to live in balance and harmony with the energies of Spirit and Earth. This four-part series of workshops explores the cosmology, rites and rituals of both the Northern Curandero and Southern traditions.

Participants will experience foundational teachings, journeys, exercises and healing techniques based upon the healing energies of the four directions. Through the creation of a Mesa, a sacred altar of stones and power objects, participants will learn to activate ‘non-ordinary’ states of consciousness. By working in the literal, symbolic, mythical and energetic realms, you will have the opportunity to become a care-taker of the Earth and its people, to learn how to move and transmute heavy energy to heal yourself and others.

What to bring: Your own lunch. Beverages and dessert are provided.

Note: This four-part series requires a commitment to attend all four workshops. Participants are obligated to pay for any missed workshops on or before the workshop date. Online payment is accepted for each workshop.

Snow Date: The snow date for the February 6th workshop is on Feburary 20th.

In the event of inclement weather that might cause us to cancel, please call 610-285-6145. Our outgoing message will let you know if we will not hold the class.

Instructor: Roger Cerruti and Kathy Jones
Fee: $180 (per workshop, payable at each workshop)
