Stories of the Buddha's reincarnations
Registration closes on February 11.
The Jataka Tales were told by the Buddha for 40 years after his Enlightenment. These stories became part of the Dharma taught his disciples and anyone who would listen. After his death, 547 of the tales were written down and today, 2,800 years after his death, they are still cherished.
These stories clearly show the application of Buddhist teachings, the continuity of life, and the value of love and compassion.
What to bring: Your own lunch (beverages and dessert provided); a journal for notes, water bottle, and/or travel mug for hot beverages.
Note: This workshop is designed for Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. Anyone interested in learning the stories of the Buddha’s rebirths.
